Welcome to Parents of Children with Down Syndrome
We are a group of about 60 families who live in Anne Arundel County. We have periodic meetings from September to May and two social events per year in the summer and winter. We have a newsletter for members. Membership is free.
Mission of P.O.D.S
It is the mission of P.O.D.S. of Anne Arundel County to provide support, resources and advocacy for persons with Down syndrome and their families living in Anne Arundel County.
The organization will further seek to provide the entire community information and education to broaden awareness and foster positive attitudes regarding people with Down syndrome.
The purpose of P.O.D.S. is to improve the quality of life for families that have been touched by Down syndrome.
